Did anyone notice that trademarked characters were displayed without required indica? I'd hate to think what sort of copyright violations that this indicates. Maybe they could get Harry Shearer to do voice overs for them. I bet they could reach him through Huffington Post. As a resident of New Orleans I'm sure he'd be more than willing to support the Republican Agenda.

an astounding 91% of Americans want “Congress to help states cover more uninsured children”

Astounding until you consider the source:

The Center for Children and Families (CCF) is an independent, nonpartisan policy center based at Georgetown University's Health Policy Institute whose mission is to expand and improve health coverage for America's children and families.

This is a definition of "independent" and "nonpartisan" with which I am unfamiliar.

callous zeal

Interesting choice of words. They're excited about keeping their emotions out of the legislation at hand. Sounds like a good thing to me. We could use some more callousness in Washington. They're legislators, not missionaries.

Good post.

Ever think about how we need to start doing something instead of just writing about all of the outrages?

What do you think about a general strike?

sure, i'd love to expand health care for kids, just not fund it through an increased smoking tax. why burden only smokers with another tax increase?
